چکیده

Introduction The Chinese mitten crab ( Eriocheir sinensis ) is a highly valued freshwater crustacean in China. While the natural shell color of E. greenish brown (GH), we found variety with brownish-orange (RH). Although RH more expensive, it exhibits lower molting frequency and growth rate compared GH, which significantly reduces its yield hinders large-scale farming. development animals are closely related to their gut microbiota tissue metabolic profiles. Methods In this study, microbiome communities profiles juvenile GH crabs using 16S rRNA gene sequencing liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS), respectively. Results Our findings indicated that intestinal microbial composition characteristics differed between GH. At operational taxonomic unit (OTU) level, α-diversity did not differ while β-diversity was higher than microbiota. species richness unclassified_c_Alphaproteobacteria group, group had three low-abundance species, Flavobacteria bacterium BAL38 , Paraburkholderia ferrariae uncultured_bacterium_g__Legionella . current 598 metabolites were identified, 159 different RH. metabolite profile characteristic low level most amino acids lipid high several pigments These enriched 102 KEGG pathways. Four pathways, including (1) Central carbon metabolism cancer, (2) protein digestion absorption, (3) alanine, aspartate glutamate metabolism, (4) aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis, enriched. correlation analysis microbiotas key differential positively correlated abundance Shewanella _sp_MR-7. Discussion This research provided greater understanding physiological conditions varieties colors by comparing metabolome.

Draft genome of the Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis

BACKGROUND The Chinese mitten crab, Eriocheir sinensis, is one of the most studied and economically important crustaceans in China. Its transition from a swimming to a crawling method of movement during early development, anadromous migration during growth, and catadromous migration during breeding have been attractive features for research. However, knowledge of the underlying molecular mechan...

Effect of temperature stress on the survival of juvenile Chinese mitten crab (Eriocheir sinensis)

Eriocheir sinensis, which is an important aquaculture species, belongs to the class Crustacea. To discuss the temperature tolerance of E. sinensis, the survival rates of juvenile crabs of E. sinensis were determined in this paper using a series of temperature settings (normal temperature, 25°C, 30°C, 32°C, 34°C, 35°C, 36°C, 38°C, 40 °C). The results indicated that except the normal temperature ...

Correlation of gut microbiota composition with colon adenomatous polyps

Microbiota is a collection of microorganisms that live in the oral cavity, respiratory tract and intestine of multicellular organisms. Microbiota exerts numerous physiological and pathological effects on the organism in which it resides. Increasing attention has been directed to the host-microbiota interaction, which is highly relevant to the development of carcinogenesis. Changes in the compos...

Impact of the Gut Microbiota on Vaccine Responses

Non-responsiveness or poor responsiveness to vaccines are challenging issues in vaccine development, and efforts have been made to find out the potential reasons for these conditions. Intestinal microbiome plays a key role in regulating and development of immune system and the composition and diversity of microbiota in different individuals on the one hand, and the imbalance of intestinal micro...
